The Lexington facility, purchased in 1989, has a licensed capacity of 3.6 million bushels. The elevator has undergone major renovations to increase handling and load out efficiencies and storage capacity. Located on the main line of the Union Pacific Railroad in Central Nebraska, Lexington loads 100 car unit trains serving domestic west coast feed mills, Pacific Northwest , domestic flour millers, Gulf and export to Mexico. In addition, Lexington handles specialty products such as white corn, waxy yellow corn and sells truck grain to the local feed lots.
